Trash Mtaani conducted a feasibility study in Kahawa West, engaging community members from the Congo, Kamae, and Soweto areas to understand and improve local waste management. This involved community consultations to gather insights on current practices, challenges, and needs, alongside stakeholder engagement with local leaders and groups. The study's core purpose was to collect data and community feedback, enabling Trash Mtaani to develop a waste management solution that is not only effective and environmentally sound but also socially acceptable, economically viable, and sustainable for these specific Kahawa West communities.
